Your Amazon Fire tablet is a great device for entertainment, whether you’re watching movies, playing games, or reading books. But one thing it’s not great for is storage. The base model of the Fire only comes with 8GB of internal storage, and that can fill up quickly if you’re storing a lot of media files.

Fortunately, there’s an easy way to expand your storage with a microSD card. MicroSD cards are inexpensive and easy to find, and they give you a lot more storage space for your files. In this article, we’ll show you how to expand your Amazon Fire tablet storage with a microSD card.

First, you’ll need to purchase a microSD card. We recommend getting a 32GB card, which should be plenty of storage for most people. You can find microSD cards for sale at most electronics stores, or you can purchase one online.

Once you have your microSD card, insert it into the microSD slot on your Amazon Fire tablet. The slot is located on the side of the tablet, near the power button.

Once the microSD card is inserted, you’ll see a notification asking if you want to format the card. Tap “Format” to format the card for use with your Fire tablet.
